Case Studies from Piles SufferersA 77 year old male patient had suffered with a persistent haemorrhoid problem for around 25 years. "I discovered the haemorrhoids by accident when I had what I thought was a bit of seepage . I went to the doctor who said I had haemorrhoids and gave me some ointment." "They became most noticeable in the last five years, gradually increasing in number. I do a lot of gardening and if I stooped down in the garden they used to pop out, fairly frequently. It was very uncomfortable and really quite embarrassing and quite distressing." He was referred to a consultant at his local hospital who recommended PPH. "I came in about midday, I was done late afternoon and next morning I came home, it's as quick as that. I didn't feel a thing. I never had any embarrassment, discomfort or pain. I'm entirely free of symptoms and when I go to the lavatory it's a much more easy, comfortable process than it was. Everything has been perfect ever since. "If I met anyone who was in pain with it, I would recommend having it done. It's much more comfortable afterwards. It was well worthwhile." We are always keen to hear from people who have undergone PPH.
