Sclerotherapy for Piles

Sclerotherapy treatment is suitable for first and second degree haemorrhoids. This is a simple injection which seals off the blood supply to the haemorrhoids so they will ultimately shrink away.

Most patients receiving either sclerotherapy or rubber band ligation will require multiple treatments and there may be a high recurrence rate following these procedures.
